The Kyrenia Antis Beach Handball Championship

Kyrenia Antis Beach Handball Championship, organized jointly by the Kyrenia Municipality and the TRNC Handball Federation, was held at Karaoğlanoğlu Public Beach on August 2-3. The two-day tournament witnessed fierce competition and the joy of winning the championship.

A total of eight teams competed for the trophy in the senior and U16 categories, while fans gathered in the stands watched the intense matches with interest.

The winning teams received their trophies from Kyrenia Mayor Murat Şenkul, Kyrenia Municipal Council Members Halil Oktunç and Mete Ünal Girgen, and Kosova Prizren Handball Club Vice President Erol Cigoli.

At the event, Ediz Arıkan, President of the TRNC Handball Federation, presented Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul with a plaque for his support of the sport and the organization.

The champions were determined as follows:

Levent won the championship in the U16 men’s category, while CIÜ placed second. In the U16 Women’s category, Esentepe took first place, while Ergüneş placed second. In the Senior Women’s category, the Efsane team won the championship, while Esentepe settled for second place. In the Senior Men’s category, Z Gym took first place, and HandBulls took second.
