Girne Municipality Neutered the 1000th Stray Dog

Girne Municipality sterilized the 1000th stray dog as part of its efforts to control the health and population of stray animals throughout the city.

Making a statement on the subject, Deputy Director of the Health Branch Naile Soyel stated that efforts are continuing uninterruptedly to ensure that stray animals live in a healthy and safe environment in Girne.

Soyel said, “Sterilization is of great importance both for the welfare of stray animals and for public health. In this context, we aim to expand our work even more.”
