Gazimagusa Nostalgia Concert

The Nostalgia Concert with the Contemporary Choir, organized in cooperation with Gazimagusa/Famagusta Municipality and Mormenekşe Contemporary Women’s Association, took place with great enthusiasm on Saturday, 5th October.

In the Nostalgia Concert with the presentation of Ayşegül Koşar and the Contemporary Choir under the direction of Conductor Oskay Hoca, the legendary names of the 1960-70s Asu Maralman, Bilgen Bengü, Coşkun Demir, Ersan Erdura, Funda, Rana Alagöz, Yeşim and Yeliz took the stage.

At the big concert, the people filled Namık Kemal Square with resentment. While there was a flood of love for the Turkish Pop Music artists of their time, all nostalgic songs were sung in unison.

After 2 songs sung by the soloists of the Contemporary Choir, consisting of 47 people, 8 artists took the stage separately. At the end of the concert, the choir and all the artists sang the song “Hayat Bayram Olsa” with the audience, and the intense interest and satisfaction of the public left its mark on the night.
