Iskele Municipality Roadside Cleaning Continues

Cleaning Work Is Being Carried Out On The Main Roadsides And Median Between Long Beach And Ötüken,

İskele Municipality, which carries out general cleaning work on the sides of the main roads at regular intervals every year, intensified its pre-autumn works. İskele Municipality Cleaning Unit started the cleaning works on the main roads, especially on the main roads where vehicle traffic is heavy, in the part between Long Beach and Ötüken Junction.

As of Monday 16th September, the works initiated by Cleaning Unit Supervisor Salih Kara and his team aim to ensure that citizens travel in a clean environment. In this context, the team, which prunes the trees on the roadsides, cleans the grass that spoils the appearance of the road, and the garbage and wastes thrown from vehicles, also carries out maintenance and repair work on the medians in the middle of the main road.

As we enter autumn, our teams intensify their work and especially maintain rainwater drainage lines. The Cleaning Unit also carries out the maintenance of the rainwater drainage lines laid on the road in question to drain the rainwater on the sides of the main road between Long Beach and Ötüken junction.
