Girne Municipality at EMITT Fair
Girne Municipality took part in the Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair EMITT which was held in Istanbul. EMITT is among the world’s top five largest tourism fairs. Participating for the second time this year, Girne Municipality Council Members Ziya Egemen Sencer and Mete Ünal Girgen, along with Girne Municipality Foreign Relations personnel Fatih Akyol, represented the City at the fair.
‘Go To Kyrenia’ Was Introduced
Unlike last year, our representatives are working on the ‘Go To Kyrenia’ project, which aims to promote small and medium-sized businesses in Girne city. As part of the project, footage for ‘Go To Kyrenia’ was shown to fairgoers on a giant screen. The QR codes of businesses in Girne were distributed to many agencies and representatives.
The EMITT Fair, which hosts nearly 40,000 industry professionals every year, will end on Friday, February 9th.
