Young Doğukan Ulaç, the well known young TRNC swimmer, once again added another feather to his cap by winning the Istanbul Bosphorus swimmimg competition.
The 30th Samsung Inter-continental swimming competition was organised by the Turkish Olympics Committee on 22nd July, 2018. The race started from the Kanlıca scaffolding on the Asian side of the Bosphorus and finished at the Kuruçeşme Cemil Topuzlu Park on the European side.
The 6.5 km long competition was contested by 2,400 swimmers from 55 countries.
Doğukan Ulaç won the race by completing the distance in 46 minutes and 58 seconds. He was followed by Erge Can Gezmiş of Turkey in 47 minutes 14 seconds. The third position was won by Alexander Kostich from USA, with a performance of 47 minutes and 41 seconds.
In the women’s section, Hilal Zeynep Saraç of Turkey achieved first position with the timing of 50 minutes and 30 seconds.
