The General Council of the Republican Assembly will convene today, following the general elections of the 7th January.
The newly elected 21 deputies from the National Unity Party (UBP), 12 from the Republican Turkish Party (CTP), 9 from the People’s Party (HP), 3 from the Social Democratic Party (TDP), 3 from the Democratic Party (DP) and 2 from the Rebirth Party (YDP), have received their mandates and will officially take office following the swearing-in at the TRNC Assembly.
