After the publication of the official and final results of the Early General Elections in the Official Gazette last week, the individuals who have been elected as deputies will be given their mandates in a formal ceremony today (15th January).
16 deputies from Lefkoşa, 13 from Gazimağusa, 10 from Girne, 4 from Güzelyurt, and 2 from Lefke will take their mandates and will officially start their duties.
According to the constitutional process, the TRNC Assembly will automatically convene 10 days after the publication of the election results in the Official Gazette.
