Girne Municipality, are building a 35 meter long rainwater relief drainage system in Şht Aytekin Zekai and Yengeç Streets as part of the rainwater drainage project which was initiated to solve the problems caused by rainwater in the city centre.
The area known as the Police Apartments which is located in Şht Aytekin Zekai and Yengeç streets is where the building of the rainwater drainage system is taking place and this is about 35 meters in length and there will also be two 6 meters length grids in the road to assist the drainage.
