Cricket Practice Starts
Another first for the TRNC Cricket Association, when they 
host at the end of the month an all ladies tournament with 2 sides coming from the South.
Team Manager Lynn Holman says when we went South last spring, we did better than anyone expected our novices to do. Playing against 2 Sri Lankan sides, we were only narrowly beaten in both games.
The matches are 6-a-side, 5 overs/innings, played with tennis balls and fast and furious, great for fitness. Training is taking place 2pm next Saturday (7th Nov) and 21st November, both sessions are at the Pia Bella Stadium (opposite the hotel). Holman says, anyone interested is very welcome, most of the team haven’t played before.
