Roots Bar Anniversary Bash

“Welcome to the Jungle”

As we recorded recently in our Weekly Events Calendar, there is to be an anniversary bash at Roots Bar, Kucuk Erenkoy, Tatlisu on Saturday 13th September starting at 5.30pm with a licence extension to 2am. The event will have the theme “Welcome to the Jungle” so if you want to go in fancy dress this will be great and add to the atmosphere.   Sounds like a good fun-filled night.

There will be entertainment from 2 live bands and a new modern dance group. The music will start at 5.30pm with “Gommalar”, a 4-piece band which we are told will leave you wanting more with awesome vocals and a twist on some well-known songs.

At about 8.30pm there will be a performance by a unique new modern dance group – “Srudio21”. This is a group of young dancers from Nicosia who have been performing all around North Cyprus and will be making their debut on this side of the island.

The evening will continue at about 10pm with a reggae band “The Healers” and they will be playing reggae classics which will be bound to get people up and dancing.

If you feel hungry with all the entertainment and dancing there will be Chicken Kebabs available throughout the evening.

The organisers have advised us that at a recent Ice Bucket Challenge donations were made and these funds will be given to a worthy cause to be decided upon later.
