North Cyprus – The Pumas RFC take on the

Ottomans and Sharks

For Rugby lovers, you will be pleased to learn that the Pumas Rugby Football Club will be celebrating their 10 Year Anniversary by playing an exhibition match against the Ottomans and  the Sharks on the 7th December at Alsancak starting at 14.00pm.

Learning as I did that the Pumas were started by a group of enthusiasts who approached the Girne American University for help in 2003 and the rest is history. Following the Exhibition Matches there will be an  ‘After Party’ which will be held in Melly’s Bar at the Altinkaya Hotel, Bellapais Road (just past the Starling Supermarket and the new mosque). This is where the Ottomans team are staying……….
