Andrew and Glen have already got a large number of bookings right into next year and they seem to be doing very well and are becoming very popular over a wide area of the island.

They started off at the Almond Lounge in Alsancak and will be appearing there on 3 Fridays each month.   Jennifer Donze and Julie Miller, who were friends of the duo in Turkey, were here on holiday and were overjoyed to be able to go and see them perform.  This is what Jennifer had to say:-

“We became friends with the singers over in Fethiye, Turkey where we both live and were avid  ‘groupies’ of these 2 lovely talented guys. They never disappointed us with their great selection of songs and we can thank them for many a fabulous nights dancing into the wee small hours to Andrew’s dulcet tones!  We’ve seen and visited many places in the last 5 days and find Cyprus a beautiful and friendly country and were very happy to top it all off with a fabulous evening at the Almond Lounge last night.  Friday evenings at the Almond’s ‘classy’ venue are a must in everyone’s diary!”

So Turkey’s loss is North Cyprus’s gain, especially judging from some of the other comments which have been made from people in Turkey who had the pleasure of seeing Andrew and Glen perform there.  It seems they will be greatly missed in Turkey but in North Cyprus they are very welcome.
