THE FLAG OF TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NORTHERN CYPRUS WAS KEPT FLYING IN HUNGARY
The flag of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has been kept flying in Hungary which is a member of EU. The flag of TRNC was raised in the second Turkish-Turan Kurultaj (congress) that 
was held in Bugac town of Hungary with participation of TRNC and other 20 countries.
In his statement to the reporter of Anadolu Agency (AA), the executive assistant of TRNC parliament Gökhan Güler who represented TRNC in Kurultaj said that they were pleased with attention that they attracted in Hungary.
Güler stated that the flag of TRNC was 
one of 21 flags that were raised in the Kurultaj in the presence of more than hundred thousand people.
It was also stated that the Hungarian mp Tamas Hegedüs said that they introduced a bill in the Hungarian Parliament for officially recognizing the TRNC but Ministry of Foreign Affairs didn’t accept it. Nevertheless he and his party will work hard for officially recognizing the TRNC.
