ARUCAD Music & Performing Arts New Year’s Gala

The Faculty of Music and Performing Arts at Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD), in partnership with its students, hosted the inaugural New Year’s Gala at the Bandabuliya Stage on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Marking the faculty’s first public appearance at this venue, the event was organized to commemorate the new year.

Commencing at 20:00 pm, the gala showcased selected dance, music, and acting performances derived from coursework undertaken during the semester. The program featured interdisciplinary works from faculty students, serving as a platform for presenting their end-of-term projects.

A total of six performances spanning music, dance, and acting were presented. The dance segment, directed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Handan Ergiydiren, Lecturer Bekir Şimşek, and Lecturer Doğa Uluçlar included contributions from İdil İlgi Kabakcı, Cemre Yavuz, Diana Bikbulat, Nehir Nur Çelik, Simay Ekin Karabıyık, Lea Sevilla, and Lecturer Doğa Uluçlar.

In the music category, compositions and performances were led by Lecturer Yaseen Salah, Mohamed Haghigh, and Oğuzhan Başkurt under the supervision of Ataman Kınış. The acting portion, coordinated by Lecturer Şafak Ersözlü, featured Abdullah Karaduman, Arda Kaba, Muhammed Fettah Tatlı, Lamira Günbatı, and Mert İsmail Aksoy.

Artistic coordination was managed by Lecturer Yıldız Güventürk, Lecturer Şafak Ersözlü, and Lecturer Ataman Kınış. The New Year’s Gala provided ARUCAD Faculty of Music and Performing Arts students an opportunity to present their academic work on a public stage.
