Northern Cyprus Banks Association took part as an observer at the signing ceremony, in Istanbul, of the Cooperation Agreement for the establishment of the Turkish States Banking Associations Council.
It was stated that Georgia, Northern Cyprus Banks Association, Hungary and Turkmenistan are expected to become full members as soon as possible.
