Author Canpolat visits East Mediterranean University

The well renowned scriptwrıter and author Zülfü Canpolat recently visited East Mediterranean University, and presented some of his books to Associate Professor Dr. Agah Gümüş, who is the Dean of the Faculty of Communications of East Mediterranean University.

Canpolat is well known for his for writing of television serials, such as  Deli Yürek, Kurtlar Vadisi, Pars Narkoterör etc. He is also the author of books entitled “Sonunu Düşünen Kahraman Olamaz” and “Ağlama Gözlerim/İthal Gelin”.

During his visit to the university he discussed  a variety of subjects from cinema to literature with Dr. Gümüş.

Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Agah Gümüş expressed the university’s happiness to host such an important figure in Turkish cinema at EMU, and author Canpolat stated that it is a pleasure for him to visit the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and EMU. Canpolat also mentioned that EMU Faculty of Communication provides the best opportunities for its students. Canpolat stated that the literature and cinema are concentric and this relationship between the two fields is the important artistic value for the communication that reaches broad populations.
