Tim’s Cafe, Ozankoy, Sunday lunch with a difference

It is nice to go out for Sunday lunch occasionally and usually we opt for a traditional British Sunday Roast.  However, last Sunday Chris, my sister and I decided to go to Tim’s Cafe and Bar in Ozankoy, which is very close to home, and sample the Sunday special, not a roast for the time being, but it is to be something a bit different each week on Sundays.

Tim had chosen chicken in tarragon sauce for his special, which came with either rice or chips.  He also caters for vegetarians and had selected a really nice dish which was 2 large mushrooms stuffed with peppers, vegetables and soft cheese, again there was a choice of rice or chips, and there was also a jug of mushrooms in tarragon sauce as a relish.    It was delicious and I was told that the chicken meal was too.    At 30TL each, we were more than impressed with the quality of the food and the very reasonable price.

It was a very hot day so we chose to sit inside which was nice a cool with the air conditioning giving us a nice temperature to sit in and enjoy our food, so the heat of the day was not a problem to go out and have a lunchtime meal in very comfortable surroundings.

Well done to Tim and his staff who looked after us so well.
