KAV May Fair

Everything is coming along well for the May Fair in aid of KAV which is being held at The Wild Duck in Lapta on Sunday 25^th May starting at 1pm.

There will be so much to see and do with all of the entertainment which has been arranged and this can be seen on the poster at the end of this article.  Just to mention a few of the events, there will be the Friends Line Dancers and the Kibris Line Dancers, both groups do so much for charity and perform at many of the festivals throughout the year, and of course there will be Maria Chappell who is again going to have her head shaved as a gesture for KAV and for some of her friends who are cancer sufferers both in North Cyprus and the UK.  I think she is very brave to do this and we will be sponsoring her on behalf of cyprusscene.com and I am sure she will have many, many more sponsors for her chosen charity.

There will be a super raffle and stalls selling all sorts of tempting items, such as cakes and pastries, bric-a-brac, clothes, ceramics and plants to name a few.

This is going to be a brilliant fun day and will extend into the evening as well with the Scratchband Ed and Keef from 7pm.

So make a note in your diary for this super event and help cancer research in the fight against cancer in North Cyprus.
