Chef´s Choice – Homemade BBQ-Sauces
Texas Whiskey Sauce
Your imagination has no limits, changing and complementing the recipes to your taste!

Ingredients
70 ml olive oil- 125 ml vegetable stock
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp Teriyaki- or Sojasauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 40 ml Bourbon Whiskey (e.g. Jack Daniels)
- chili powder (to taste)
- salt, freshly ground pepper
Preparation
Stir in the garlic and vegetable stock.
Add ketchup and season with salt, pepper and chili powder.
Mingle in the Whiskey and give the sauce a sweet touch with honey and Teriyaki sauce.
Simmer on low heat until the sauce thickens.
The sauce is also excellent for marinating.
