Summer Grilling 2013 – Carne Asada

Summer Grilling 2013 : Carne Asada

by Ralph Kratzer

Who has never been to a Mexican restaurant and tried one of their wonderful spicy dishes?

One of them is the famous carne asada.

It is mostly made from thin marinated beef steak, usually skirt steak, flank steak or flap steak.

The dish is originated in the northern and western parts of Mexico but as well popular in the American Southwest (especially Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas) where it is sold at Mexican meat markets called carnicerías.
