Speaker of the Parliament in the Greek Cypriot Administration Dimitris Şilluris whose name was involved in scandals regarding the “citizenship for investment”, also known as “golden passports”, has resigned.
The second round of the Presidential elections will be held on Sunday, 18th October 2020. UBP candidate Ersin Tatar and independent candidate Mustafa Akıncı are the two candidates who received the most votes and will compete in the second round.

Criticising the actions of a group of Greek Cypriot fanatics in Derinya on 11th October 2020 and the Greek Cypriot Administration Leader Anastasiades, Prime Minister Ersin Tatar stated that they opened Maraş for the benefit of humanity, and that no one should ignore this fact.
