By Ismail Veli……. Lurucina in 1915 was by Cyprus standards a reasonable sized village. Apart from theft of sheep and minor incidents violence was rare, but in 1915 the village was shocked to its foundation.
I was born in the village of Lurucina/Akincilar. As a six year old my family migrated to the UK in 1962. We grew up in Highbury, London. I have 2 sons, 2 grandson and a grandchild on the way. My Interests and hobbies include Reading, collecting old books, studying History, painting mini figurines and collecting old Vinyl records.
