Tatar: Muratağa, Sandallar and Atlılar Massacres are war crimes of the 20th century

President Ersin Tatar issued a message on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the second phase of the 1974 Turkish Peace Operation and the anniversary of the Muratağa, Sandallar, and Atlılar Massacres.

In his message, Tatar expressed his great sorrow for the innocent civilians, including women and children who were brutally murdered by the fascist EOKA terrorist organization on the anniversary of the Muratağa, Sandallar, and Atlılar Massacres, which, he said, were one of the greatest war crimes of the 20th century.

Tatar pointed out that these massacres unequivocally demonstrated to the world the non-negotiable presence of Türkiye, guaranteeing the security and safety of the Turkish Cypriot people.

I feel sorrow and Anger at the Same Level.

Anger for the British Government, Who was Guarantor to the Constitution, To Ignore Its Responsibilities, To make the Right Decision and Prevent It, Or at the very least Bring it to the UN s Attention. Secondly being in Complete Knowledge of the Facts, Accepting the Roc As The Legitimate Government of All the Land and the People.
When in knowledge of the happenings.

Second, I Blame the UNITED NATIONS, For the Same as above, Plus Declaring Of the Turkish Cypriots, As The Rebellious Minority, who did not Recognise the Authority of the State.

And Both of them For continuing to Disregard us as A Troublesome community.

That Only Lives Us with One Friend in This World, Our Brothers, The Turkish People Every Where.

And All the Individuals, Who Support Our Cause.
