From Susie Ford ….
The Karaoke Challenge was held over 2 nights, at the Balti House, Esentepe and Seabreeze Kucuk Erenkoy, on 28th and 30th October. Team Susie v team Malcolm
The guest judges were Can Gazi from Bayrak tv/radio and Bob Richards. Captains – Susie Ford and Malcolm Gannaway. The DJs were Cathy Lund and Martin Ford.
The events started with both team mascots singing a song of their choice. The captains had to go against each other with 1 song, then the DJs. The 12 singers had to then go against each other with 1 song of their own choice and then in round 2 they had to each pick a song from the hat, which they had no idea what. The Judges had to sore each and every song.
The atmosphere over the 2 nights was amazing / Lots of laughter. cheering. clapping. dancing and support !! and community spirit at its best.
The 2 captains and 2 DJs organised this last year and because it was such a great successful night we decided to do it all again this year.
The 2 charities chosen were KAR and Tulips and we all raised 2,090TL

Thank you to our wonderful judges – committing to judge the 2 nights / thank you to everyone who helped with the raffle and the raffle donations . Thank you to Helen Cox who took the amazing photos / thank you to the 2 DJs. bringing their equipment and working the music all night. Thank you to everyone who came and supported both teams and the charities, A massive thank you to both teams {some in costumes too} for competing and giving us much fun and entertainment…….
