Following our previous information regarding a proposed trip to Taskent Wildlife Park, we can now confirm that this will take place on Monday 21st October. Coach pick up points and times will be confirmed once we have definite confirmation of bookings.
The choice for lunch is either: Grilled chicken breast in mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables or Green lentil kofte with chips and salad. Would you please confirm your food choices when you confirm your booking.
All other details are as set out below and we would ask that we receive your payment at least a week before departure.
Taskent Wildlife Park,for those who do not know, is a lovely wildlife park in a beautiful setting where rescued animals are nursed back to health in the rescue and rehabilitation centre and others who could not survive in the wild are cared for. They have a whole range of animals there ranging from turtles to donkeys and including many species of birds. They carry out wide ranging research and the organised tour around the park is fascinating and rewarding to see this work being carried out here in the TRNC.
The cost per person would be 150TL which includes transport both ways, lunch in the restaurant and a 50TL donation per person to the park to enable them to carry on their valuable work.
For those of you that have not visited the park yet it is a delightful trip with a guided tour of the animals and the work that is being carried out there.
