World-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say gave a concert at the Girne Amphitheatre.
The 9th Girne Culture and Art Days ended with the concert of world-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say. During the recital held at the Girne Amphitheater, Fazıl Say performed some of his own works – Izmir Suite : Brahms in Izmir, Silent Morning in Kordon, Chopin in Izmir, Urla Poetry, Rahmaninov in Izmir The artist also presented some works of classical music to the audience, with Beethoven and Chopin. There was also Jazz and Turkish music included in the programme.
In his speech at the concert, Mayor of Girne, Nidai Güngördü, said that the 9th Girne Culture and Art Days organised with the slogan “Art for tolerance, love and peace”, ended with Fazıl Say’s piano recital.
Fazıl Sayı said that he had the pleasure of performing in Girne for a second time.
Nidai Güngördü said that the audience had an unforgettable night, and thanked the artists, employees and citizens who attended the 9th Girne Culture and Art Days activities between June and September.
