Saturday 31st August was 1970s night at Charlie’s Sports Bar in Kücük Erenkoy, where around 60 people attended for an evening of music and fun.
The music started at 8pm and DJ Martin played tunes from the 1970s all evening. A few people came dressed for the occasion and we also had an ABBA show along with Elvis Presley.
Susie Ford got everyone going with her crazy party games – find the pegs, balloon relay (which the ladies team won), pass the orange, go find it, and drag it up. Lots of laughter and fun was had, not only by those taking part, but also by those watching.
Best dressed lady was Julie O’Sullivan
Best dressed male was Roy Phippard
Winners of the night’s games – Les and Joyce Ackerley, Denise Conway,
the Social Entrepreneurs, Pat and John Malloy.
