North Cyprus Events Calendar from 28th June 2019

A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus. For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. who would like to include an event in the Weekly Events Calendar, contact Chris or Margaret at cyprusscene.com.

The Events Calendar is published every week on Thursday so please try to submit information you would like to be included by Tuesday evening each week.

The North Cyprus Forum events calendar is now incorporated on the cyprusscene website where you can register as a member and post your own events.

25^th June to 6^th July	Paintings and Ceramics exhibition at Girne Art Gallery. 10am to 5pm weekdays, 10am to 3pm Saturdays.
28^th June – Friday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak presents The Great Flood (Blues) starting at 10pm. Entrance 35TL.
28^th June – Friday	Bingo at Charlie’s Bar, Esentepe at 8.30pm.
28^th and 29^th June Friday/Saturday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be having an A-Z of Musical Showstoppers in aid of Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch. Doors open 6pm. 70TL includes Mediterranean Buffet served at 6.30pm. Booking essential 0533 835 5133. Not many tickets left!
29^th June – Saturday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak presents The Gentleman (Rock) starting at 10pm. Entrance 35TL.
29^th June – Saturday	RBL Kyrenia Branch will be having a Race Day event at The Courtyard Inn, Karakum for Armed Forces Day. 6pm with first race at 6.30pm. 60TL for 2-course meal. To book call Jill on 0548 827 3910.
29^th June – Saturday	Cyprus Piano Summer Concert in Karmi with the students of Rauf Kasimov at Karmi Church starting at 6pm. Suggested donation of 30TL per person. To book a seat email : Karamanchurch@outlook.com
30^th June – Sunday	Island Studio Art Classes at The Food Lodge, Catalkoy 9.30am to 11.30am. Tribute to Mary Cassatt “Little Girl in Armchair” with soft pastels. 150TL, materials will be provided. Reservations must be made 0548 857 3244 (maximum 8 per class).
30^th June – Sunday	Hope 4 Pets will be holding a car boot sale at Tim’s Cafe/Bar, Ozankoy, starting at 11am. 20TL per car.

11^th July – Thursday	The Crow’s Nest, Karmi will be having a Breakfast and walk in aid of the Blister Sisters (Walking 4 Tulips). There will be a 6-8km walk in Karmi area at 8am. 14^th September – Saturday	Queen tribute with Killer Queen at the Girne Amphitheatre which will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). Tickets £25 per person. Tickets will be available the 3^rd week of July from Best Seller Bookshops in Karakum and Alsancak.
27th/29^th September Friday/Saturday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak are preparing a Friends Across Borders event with bands from south and north Cyprus and possibly Germany. This will be a great live music event. More information to follow.
