Employees of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment – Environmental Protection Department performed an educational theatre play within the scope of ’5th June World Environment Day‘ activities.
Minister of Tourism and Environment Ünal Üstel, DP Gazimağusa Deputy Fikri Ataoğlu, Gazimağusa Mayor İsmail Arter and Beyarmudu Mayor İlker Edip attended the event which was held in the Rauf Raif Denktaş Congress Centre, Famagusta.
The aim of this project was to raise awareness of the environment to the students.
The importance of environmental cleanliness and environmental protection was explained to primary school students through a theatre performance with instructive stories and music.
