Mağusa Türk Gücü (nickname Carga, meaning “Crows”) completed a League and Cup double last Saturday when they beat their deadliest rival, Yenicamı, 2-1
After pipping Yenicamı last weekend to the League title on goal difference, they left it late to win the Cup, scoring twice in the last 15 minutes to win the double.

Congratulations to Coach Batu Seyis and his team on winning the double. The Famagusta side have been far the best team in the Super League this season, playing entertaining and attacking football. The fantastic fanatical supporters deserve the glory as well, with their replica yellow/green shirts and scarfs not to mention fireworks and flares they have provided colour to many Stadiums this season.
