The official results of the ”Turkcell Girne Half Marathon”, which took place in Girne on Sunday 14th April, have been announced.
The official results were given and prizes awarded to the winners of the various categories and distances with the participation of Athletics Federation President Halil Samani, former President of the Athletics Federation of Turkey Semra Aksu, Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü, Sponsors – Turkcell Girne Half Marathon, and Councillors.
The revenue received from the half marathon which was organised by the Girne Municipality and the Athletics Federation with the slogan “We are running for help”, is to be donated to the SOS Children’s Village Association, the Adult Special Needs Rehabilitation Centre and the Akan Gürkan Education Foundation, and will be announced in the coming days.
