The “big match of the season” between current leaders Yenicamı and second placed Mağusa Türk Gücü ended 3-3. The match was played at a noisy and packed Lefkoşa Atatürk Stadium and as the scoreline suggests, it was a thrilling match.
Yenicamı were comfortably in the lead at the interval 3-1, the turning point was that they missed a penalty early in the second half. This allowed MTG back in the game which they took advantage of scoring twice in quick succession to square the game. Indeed MTG were unlucky not to take all 3 points as they dominated the final 15 minutes.
During the week the Football Federation imposed a 1 point penalty deduction on MTG after disciplinary reasons during a recent match. With 5 matches left to play Yenicami lead the table by 2 points now.

Week 25 K-Pet League 1 Results
With 5 matches left to play League leaders Göçmenköy continue to grow and strengthen their hold on the top spot winning 2-0 at Yalova. Second place Düzkaya are also in a good position after winning 2-0 at bottom placed club Değirmenlik, they are now 3 points ahead of third placed Ozanköy.
Ozanköy themselves were involved in a thrilling match drawing at home 4-4 with Mesarya. It was one of those occasions where a goalkeeper gets on the scoresheet. Ozanköy goalkeeper MEHMEDEMIN ILTER did just that scoring the equalising goal in the 95th minute.
