There is a nice restaurant in the centre of Ozankoy, near the Mosque, which has changed hands on a number of occasions and last year was taken over by Christina Dekker, who is from The Netherlands, and her business partner, Arif Chaudary who is also the Chef, and they opened the restaurant with a new name – Just Nice.
We joined our friends, Richard and Weng Chamberlain on Sunday to catch up and enjoy a meal at Just Nice Restaurant and we had a very enjoyable meal, chosen from their Indian and European menu, while being entertained by Gavin. It was a nice warm day so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, food and music. We enjoyed our meal prepared by Arif who has been a chef for the last 17 years.
The restaurant is open every day from 12 noon to 12 midnight. There is live music every Sunday and Bingo on Thursdays at 3pm. They serve Indian food, BBQ, steaks, hamburgers, salads, pasta and much more. They will also be introducing Nargile (Shisha) in the near future and more entertainment will be arranged for the coming months which will be held in the lovely outside area.
