The Municipality of Girne organised a luncheon and awareness event for female employees on the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8th.
At the event, the Mayor of Girne, Nidai Güngördü, was joined by city council members Ayse Karaligil, Burcu Karakaya, Derya Hoca, Hatice Asik and Pelin Aydin Kutluba. Psychologist Ayla Kahraman talked to the women on the theme of breaking the routine.
Güngördü: Women take great responsibility in business life
Girne Mayor Nidai Güngördü in his speech drew attention to one of the most important indicators of the level of development of a society, women’s liberty, dignity in society, production and management. With each passing day women’s economic, social and political responsibilities and activities are increasing and women showed great responsibility, dedication and struggle.
Girne Municipality Counselling Centre organised a youth interview and talk to the women at the luncheon and Psychologist Ayla Kahraman thanked and presented a gift to the staff of the Municipality.
