Bravo Esentepe Under 21 team, Bravo Coach Gokan Kim a great win for the youngsters thanks to an 80th minute goal from EFE KİLİÇ who now are in seventh place in what is an extremely difficult league.

Esentepe under 21 team pulled off an unexpected win against opposition that are in a higher place than them in the League and have more resources to choose from.
The youngsters have had a good season, they have been stripped of their best players who have been called up into the senior squad. They have lost players transferred to bigger richer clubs and of course they have suffered from the normal problems of injuries and suspension.
This match provided little goal thrills as two strong defences dominated the match. Baf Ülkü Yurdu (BUY) were technically the better team, but found an Esentepe team in a dogged and determined mood.

Goal chances were at a premium and the only goal was well taken by EFE KİLİÇ in the 80th minute who fastened on to a clearance, made room for himself, and beat the BUY goalkeeper with a shot from just outside the area.
As a team Esentepe battled hard together, with the brothers Mehmet Gürkan and Izzet Furkan Demir having strong games. With Esentepe missing their Captain Ali Soytürk, his deputy HALIT ÇULCU had an outstanding game at the heart of the Esentepe defence. He was brave, strong, uncompromising and won countless headers for his team,
