With the K-Pet League’s shut down on their winter break it just left to the BTM League which is the equivalent to the third division to carry the baton for local football.
In the Red Group Görneç continue to just hold off their main rivals Valdili. Görneç won 4-1 at home against Dipkarpaz with striker Erkan Ökten scoring a hat trick.
Valdili kept the pressure on Görneç by beating Dörtyol away 2-0, to make it played 5 won 5.
In the White Group the then leaders Lapta paid a heavy price for losing 1-3 at home to Tatlısu Hosk by slipping down to fourth place.
Karaoğlanoğlu and Denizli took advantage of that Lapta slip up by both winning, Karaoğlanoğlu taking over the top spot on goal difference.
