North Cyprus Events Calendar from 15th November 2018

A list of events you can look forward to in North Cyprus. For those charity fund-raisers, venues etc. who would like to include an event in the Weekly Events Calendar, contact Chris or Margaret at cyprusscene.com.

The Events Calendar is published every week on Thursday so please try to submit information you would like to be included by Tuesday evening each week.

The North Cyprus Forum events calendar is now incorporated on the cyprusscene website where you can register as a member and post your own events.

15^th November – Thursday	Spaghetti Junction, Catalkoy, quiz night in aid of Tulips starting at 8 pm. 50 questions and a table top extra. 5TL per person. Quiz split 50/50 to the winning team and Tulips. Raffle 5TL a ticket, winner chooses meal for 2 at Spaghetti Junction, bottle of wine, or money. If money not won it rolls over.

16^th November – Friday	RBL Quiz Night at the Olive Press, Lapta. 7.30pm. 10TL entry fee, 10TL for game of Stupid Bingo. To book call 0533 880 1196. Food not available at this venue. Event in aid of the 2018 RBL Poppy Appeal.
16^th November – Friday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be having their fun quiz, starting at 7pm. To book teams call Vicki on 0533 835 5133.

18^th November – Sunday	Selmi Strip, Ozankoy will be having the second Car Boot Sale 11am to 3pm. Sell your unwanted items from your car boot and help to raise funds for Hope 4 Pets. There will be a raffle with prizes of meals for 2 at Semir Firin & Kebab House and Tim’s Cafe/Bar.

28th November – Wednesday	KAR Bingo and Music at Blue Song Restaurant, Lapta starting at 7.30pm. Food will be available. A nice evening’s entertainment to help the cats and dogs at the KAR Rescue Centre.

30^th November – Friday	Sea Wise Restaurant in Esentepe will be holding a Christmas Fayre in aid of Tatlisu School, supported by Creative Sewing Esentepe. The Fayre will start at 2pm and there will be many stalls selling Christmas items, pet and garden items, clothes, jewellery, bric-a-brac, books, DVDs etc. Lovely raffle prizes.
30^th November – Friday	The Soulist Coffee and Music House, Alsancak present Alper Cengiz and Friends (Blues) from 9.30pm. Entrance 20TL.
1^st December – Saturday	British Residents Society – Blood Donor Day at Dr Akcicek Hospital, Girne from 10am. If you are able to give blood please try to attend.
3^rd December – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at Jessics Bar, Lapta. 7.30pm. 10TL entry, 10TL Bingo.
5^th/6^th December – Wednesday and Thursday	KADS will be presenting their Christmas whodunit “Santa’s Grotto” at Acmenya Restaurant, Alsancak. 3-course meal and complimentary glass of mulled wine 90TL. 7^th December – Friday	The Olive Press Bowls Club, Lapta will be holding a quiz night in aid of KTW (Karsiyaka Turtle Watch) starting at 7.30pm. 5tl per person for the quiz and also there is a Brainbuster Question that rolls over each month until someone gets the correct answer, that is an optional buy at 5tl as well. 8^th December – Saturday	KAR Christmas Bazaar at The Pia Bella Hotel, Girne from 10.30am. Lots of stalls with Christmas items, cakes etc. Grand raffle.
8^th December – Saturday	RBL Christmas Party at Blue Song Restaurant, Lapta. 7.30pm. Tickets to be confirmed. Shared event with British Residents Society. 100 maximum reservations.
11^th December – Tuesday	Bar 33 (The Old Mill), Ozankoy will be holding a Christmas Coffee Morning from 11am in aid of Hope 4 Pets.
12^th December – Wednesday	The Black Olive Cafe will be holding a Christmas Bazaar from 12.30 to 3.30pm at their new location in Alsancak, which will be in aid of Tulips.

2019	Happy New Year
3/4/5 January	The RBL Theatre Players will be performing their production of Scrooge A Christmas Carolling at the Girne Belediyesi Oda Theatre. More information to follow soon.
16^th April – Tuesday	Supper Club event at the Kaya Palazzo Hotel, Karaoglanoglu with Totally Tina. Tickets will be £50 per person and the event will be in aid of the British Cemetery Committee. More information to follow.
19^th June – Wednesday	Supper Club event at the Colony Garden will be Sing Baby Sing…the World’s no1 tribute to the Stylistics, featuring founder members of the group Heatwave…a hugely experienced group. The event will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). More information to follow.
14^th September – Saturday	Queen tribute with Killer Queen at the Girne Amphitheatre which will be in aid of the Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). More information to follow.
