Margaret Sheard and I have met some people and have admired their determination and drive in pursuit of a quest they had and in some cases we have been able to present them with a plaque of recognition on behalf of CyprusScene.com.
This past week we had a visit from our friends Grammy List Nominee, Demetra George Mustafaoğlu, Ece Sualp and her daughter Peri who had all received plaques of appreciation from us for the fantastic things they have done in the past.
We have published many articles promoting musical shows which they as a team and together with others help fundraising to support various charities.
Their visit to meet with us was not this time to talk about their current show “Concerts Without Borders- BEYOND” which is being performed on Sunday evening the 11th November at Bellapais Abbey but to spring a surprise on us.
With huge smiles these beautiful and kind ladies presented Margaret and I with huge certificates they had made along with a nice bottle of bubbly to help us celebrate the publication of our 50th CyprusScene.com online Enewspaper.
So where do we go from here?
Many readers like a conventional newspaper to read and are calling for us to bring back a conventional on the shelf newspaper which is a very tempting prospect and we just need to find a few equally minded people who want to help us and be part of our venture and then make the formal arrangements to have a CyprusScene.com newspaper printed again.
