The plight of street animals is never far from the local news and we have received news from Meyrem Dana that the Mağusa Kale Lions and Mağusa Mare Lions Clubs donated an assortment of medication to the Gazimağusa Dogs Home and Rehabilitation Centre.
This is excellent news and shows that both individuals and community groups want to make a real difference to the plight of street animals and that these two Lions Clubs donated medicine including antibiotics, eye drops and painkillers to help treat the rescue dogs at the Gazimağusa Dogs home and Rehabilitation Centre.
A big thank you to all concerned at the Mağusa Kale Lions and Mağusa Mare Lions Clubs for your hard work, kindness and fundraising which enabled you to make this invaluable donation.
