First state of the art “T series” speed detection and security camera has been installed at the exit of Bolu Sokak, on the Haydar Aliyev Avenue in Lefkoşa.
The camera uses target tracking technology and is a compact model, as 
opposed to the modular structure of the already existing ones. The camera, which has a capacity to monitor 6 lane traffic, will be able to identify any speed limit violations on the four lane avenue.
The offender will be exposed with a clear photograph of 22 megapixels. The new system also includes a 360 degree surveillance camera which will be recording 24/7.
The camera is expected to be activated this week. The number of T series cameras will be increased by installing them in various areas around the country.
