TRNC Tourism and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu met with Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Minister, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy.
The Ministers and delegations discussed the work in the field of tourism from Turkey to Northern Cyprus and evaluated the issue of more benefit. It was decided to provide technical support in the area of improving the work on the excavation of 
archaeological sites in the TRNC and improving the exhibitions in museums.
Minister Ersoy said that with Turkey’s tourism potential they always intend to benefit Northern Cyprus, with an increase of efforts to increase their cooperation in the tourism sector, and will continue to do so in the future. He also emphasised that they are always ready for promotion and contribution
Minister Ataoğlu said Turkey’s increasing expertise in the field of tourism and the very good promotion network by specifying the work to be done in this area would be very beneficial to the TRNC.
