Retired Nursing Services Specialist İsmet Çoban presented the book “History and Development of Turkish Cypriot Nursing” to the Minister of Health, Filiz Besim. Besim emphasized that Çoban’s book is an important resource to shed light for the future generations, while thanking her for her contribution to the field of health for many years.
The book gives information and events regarding the nursing profession in the past and it is important to convey this to future generations. The Çoban Book covers the developments and the challenges that were experienced in its period in the name of the nursing profession, and is an important source of the nursing history in Northern Cyprus.
