The project for the new traffic department, to be constructed in the Metehan area of Lefkoşa, has been completed by the Planning and Project Department of the TRNC Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.
The three storey building, which has a total space of 2012 square metres, will contain an elevator, a wheelchair ramp and a toilet for disabled people. Following the completion of the construction, the Directorate of Traffic Department together with Traffic Services, Permission Council, Motor Car Registration and licence units will start serving under one roof.
In the future, a driving education track and a building for offices for driving schools will be constructed on the same plot, thus offering an integrated facility for the service of the people.
