It is never too late for education…this is part of the vision of the Arkin University and Center for Art&Design established in Kyrenia in 2017.

Hardly a year has passed and the Arkin University has already come out with some first presentations of their work and projects. On Friday, July 13…. please note the date….. we were invited to the display of some three months courses.
‘Arkin Center for Art&Design May-July period three month long certificated course programs have been completed. Works that were the fruits of these courses will be put on display at an exhibition that will be held at the ARUCAD Campus on Friday 13th July 2018 at 19.00. Attendees who have completed painting, drawing techniques, sculpture, ceramic, potter’s wheel, creative print, illustration, graphic design, photoshop, digital photography, experimental film and video courses will be presented with their certificates.’
The Dean of the Faculty of Communication, Visual Communication Design, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alev Adil, opened the event together with Erbil Arkin, founder and spiritual father of 
ARUCAD, with a short presentation of their vision and an invitation to everyone creative and willing to try their hand and get further education in any of the abovementioned art disciplines. Learning by doing, in courses, as part or full time student, no matter where they come from and how old they are.
Teachers and students were present and the 
guests could admire their works in the courtyard of the University which is a beautiful design in itself. At the end of the evening, the students received their certificates and the film works were shown as soon as it got dark.
