There will be extending all sorts of technical and academic cooperation to the Election Board, during the Parliamentary, Mayor and other elections in the TRNC scheduled for 24th June 2018.
According to the press statement issued by the Press and Public Relations Directorate of the Near East University, the protocol was signed by the President of the Board of Trustees of the Near East University, Assoc. Dr. İrfan S. Günsel and the Supreme Court and the Chairman of the Supreme Election Board Narin Ferdi Şefik.
During the signing ceremony of the protocol, Vice Rector of the Near East University, Prof. Dr. Tamer Şanlıdağ and Secretary of Higher Election Board Neşe President and members of the Supreme Election Board were present.
According to the protocol, the Near East University will make computer systems for recording, monitoring and analysing the election of the Presidential, Parliamentary and Local Organizations. The University will receive the results, and will publicise them through Radio and Television channels. The University also agreed to provide all sorts of technical help and consultancy and, if necessary, equipment to the Election Board.
