Gillham Vineyard and Resort in Ilgaz is becoming a very popular venue for locals and visitors and they are now including more events to encourage people to visit, not only to sample the superb wine, but to also enjoy the tranquil and breathtaking scenery around this mountainside vineyard.
On 10th June Gillham’s Wine Bar held its first live concert with a classical guitar recital from Ozan Sarıtepe and Vincenzo Sandro Brancaccio, the classical guitar concert was attended by over 100 people and marked the end of the Near East University’s second international Guitar Festival and the start of a busy summer for Gillham’s Wine Bar.
During the evening guests were treated to a selection of exquisite tapas prepared by their resident internationally recognised chef and accompanied throughout by Etel Wine, distinguished wine produced for Gillham Vineyard.
The Classical Guitar concert was the first of many live musical events that Gillham plan to host. Their next live concert will be held on Sunday 24th June, a Jazz concert by Fikri Karayel, with more than 2.1 million views on YouTube, Fikri Karayel is one of the most promising musicians in the region. Mixing his own repertoire with jazz, he will surely give guests a night to remember.
