Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Tolga Atakan announced that work on the long-time abandoned Güzelyurt Bypass has resumed.
Atakan shared some pictures from the road works on social media with a note saying that construction of the roundabout at the entrance of Güzelyurt, together with laying of asphalt, had begun.
Atakan also said the deadline for completion of the section between Güzelyurt and Doğancı was the beginning of July this year.
