The RBL Theatre Players have been hard at work rehearsing for an hilarious play called ‘Boeing Boeing’ with performances at the Alsancak Theatre on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th June. Doors open at 6:30pm and curtain up at 7pm.

The story is set in an apartment in Paris during the swinging sixties. Bernard is a French architect who thinks he is living the ‘ideal life’ by having three fiancees (who happen to be air hostesses) and is trying to impress his old school friend with balancing his relationships around an airline timetable. However, Bernard didn’t bank on faster aircraft, poor weather and flight delays and soon life in his apartment becomes a whole lot more complicated….

Directed by Jan Marsh and supported by a stellar cast it promises to be a frantic and funny farce.

Tickets / theatre passes are now available – they can be purchased directly at Best Seller Bookshops at Karakum and Alsancak or at the RBL stall Chateau Lambousa on Saturday mornings. Or why not contact Jan direct on 0533 839 2995 or email her at rbltheatreplayscyprus@gmail.com to reserve your tickets.

Tickets only cost 40TL and all proceeds are supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2018 (with a contribution to the Alsancak Mayor’s chosen charity) so all for brilliant causes.

Come along and support one of your local theatre groups (and bring friends – there will be a bar!!!)

The Alsancak Theatre is immediately next door to the Alsancak Belediyesi (with a large car park).
