I am hoping that you can give a mention on-line to an upcoming fundraising day at Jessic Bar and Restaurant in Karsiyaka.
The newly formed ‘Jessic Friends of Karsiyaka School Children Society’ has been raising money since November 2017 towards projects at Karsiyaka Village Primary School. 
So far a classroom has been refurbished with new roller door dividers to maximise use of space, new cupboards, bookshelves, English language children’s books, an overhead projector and screen, and 5 new laptops for interactive learning. There is still the last push to go though, with some new lighting and fans, computer desks, and an outside corridor requires roofing.
To achieve this before the end of the school year, Jessic Bar and Restaurant in Karsiyaka are holding another great pub day with a Grand Auction officiated by Auctioneer Karl Rugg, a massive raffle, and a disco with Karaoke by DJ Steve on Tuesday 22nd May.
BBQ meals will be available from 1 pm, with 5TL from every meal going to the school projects.
Donations for both the Auction and Raffle are VERY welcome! Items can be dropped off at Jessic any day after 11am, and if anyone has any questions please see Deniz at Jessic Bar, or phone him on 0533 858 7322.
Further details are on the poster shown and everyone is welcome to join in for a fun party day!
